Travel designed around you

Curated journeys. Unexpected discoveries.

Thoughtfully planned. Wonderfully unexpected.

Travel should be more than a collection of places you’ve been. Random Traveler creates personal, beautifully planned journeys with the freedom to discover the moments you never knew to look for.

The Random Traveler philosophy

“Random” doesn’t mean unplanned. It means being open to discovery.

Some of the best travel experiences happen beyond the obvious: the small restaurant you didn’t know about, the beautiful place that wasn’t on your original itinerary, or the experience that becomes the story you tell for years.

I take care of the planning and details so you have the freedom to experience more, worry less, and enjoy those wonderful unexpected moments that make travel memorable.

Meet Robin

Curious traveler. Thoughtful planner. Your advocate along the way.

Robin’s approach to travel begins with a simple question: what will make this trip meaningful to you? She combines years of personal travel experience with careful research, trusted industry relationships and a genuine curiosity about the world.

Her favorite journeys balance the memorable with the unexpected: an exceptional meal, a private guide who changes how you see a place, a spectacular landscape, an interesting conversation with someone local, or a corner of a city you never expected to love.

Robin’s services are centered on planning and booking travel. She can arrange specific components of a trip—such as hotels, cruises, guides, transfers or experiences—or plan and book the entire journey. Her guidance is provided as part of the travel she arranges, rather than as stand-alone trip advice for travelers who intend to make their own bookings. The goal is not simply to make reservations. It’s to help you get more from the journey.

Why work with a travel advisor?

More than reservations.

Ideas you may not have considered

Discover hotels, guides, neighborhoods and experiences that are easy to miss when you’re planning alone.

One journey, thoughtfully connected

Hotels, transfers, transportation, excursions and timing are considered as part of the whole trip—not as separate bookings.

Support when plans change

Travel is unpredictable. Having an advisor gives you another resource when something unexpected needs attention.

How it works

A collaborative approach, from first idea to final detail.

01

Dream

Tell Robin what you’re imagining, who’s traveling and what matters most.

02

Collaborate

Share preferences, priorities and the pace that feels right for you.

03

Curate

Robin researches and connects the right hotels, routes and experiences.

04

Travel

Leave with the details organized and support available when you need it.

05

Discover

Enjoy the parts Robin planned—and the wonderful moments no one could.

Planning & value

Personal planning without a separate planning fee.

Robin does not currently charge a planning fee. She is typically compensated by the travel suppliers she books with, with that compensation generally already reflected in their pricing.

“My goal isn’t to take the discovery out of travel—it’s to take away the work, while leaving plenty of room for the unexpected.”

Where will your next story take you?

There should always be another adventure waiting just around the corner.

Tell Robin what you’ve been dreaming about. She’ll help turn the idea into a thoughtful journey—with room for the discoveries you can’t plan in advance.

Beyond the Usual

Paris & Normandy. The journey began in Paris, balancing iconic historical and cultural sights with cafés, restaurants and neighborhoods. From there, a luxury Seine river cruise carried the trip into Normandy, with charming towns, countryside and the D-Day beaches and battlefields.

Switzerland by rail. After returning to Paris, the trip continued through Switzerland. A standout was the Bernina Express through dramatic alpine scenery, glaciers and mountain villages on the way to Italy.

Bologna & Tuscany. Bologna brought a deep dive into food and culture before the journey moved south to a villa outside Florence. Days included Tuscan hill towns, private winery visits, tastings, a hands-on cooking class and family-owned restaurants.

It was exactly the kind of trip Random Traveler is meant to create: iconic places, beautiful scenery, wonderful food and wine, and local discoveries that become the stories remembered most.
